The Unida is a three-story mixed use development in Downtown Edmond. The first floor will serve as a gallery, rentable space and small music venue with areas for lounge seating and bar service. The second floor will provide executive-style offices with shared common spaces, a collaborative break-away space, and conference rooms. The top-floor residences will feature modern amenities, downtown views and a large open roof deck that will also serve as an amenity to the first floor.
The design intent was to create something that was traditional enough to incorporate well with the surrounding environment of downtown Edmond, but use architectural details to bring a modern touch and allow it to stand out as something unique. The repetitive windows and the stacking of each story provides a visual simplicity while the brick detailing and steel guardrails give it a modern feel that sets it apart.
